From East: Head West on Interstate 10 and take Exit #112 for FL-79 S toward Panama City Beach. Continue south to Panama City Beach and make right turn at FL-30 E / Front Beach Rd. Destination will be on the left.
From Airport: Follow signs to exit Northwest Florida Beaches International Air Terminal. Head west on State Hwy 388. Turn left onto FL-79 S. Continue south to Panama City Beach and make right turn at FL-30 E / Front Beach Rd. Destination will be on the left.

Arrival Instructions & Access Code
Arrival:
Once you arrive, please park in your reserved parking spot #29 on the 2nd floor in the onsite parking garage. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring an additional vehicle. Each vehicle must have a parking pass. All non-reserved parking spots are located in the secondary lot across the street. Please know that non-reserved parking is limited and there is no guarantee of availability especially during the busy season (May-Aug). Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing. Vehicles taller than 7 feet are not permitted in the garage.
Elevators are located in the central area of the building and accessible from the parking garage. Take the elevator to the 15th floor, turn right and walk along the terrace until you reach Condo Unit #1506. If you need to transport luggage, you may use any of the luggage carts located by the elevators on the 2nd - 4th floors. Please DO NOT attempt to bring luggage carts into the unit, they are designed not to fit through the doorway. You may unload your luggage outside the doorway and carry items inside. When finished, please return the cart to the same floor you found it so other guests can use them.
Check-in:
The property will be ready for check-in at 4: 00 PM (Central Time Zone) on the date of your arrival. The Tropic Winds facility does not have a front desk. When you arrive, you may go straight to the condo unit. Please find your arrival package on the kitchen counter. The package contains one prepaid parking pass, guest wristbands, and other arrival artifacts. Please be sure to snap on wristbands loosely so they can be removed if desired.
Access Code:
One week prior to your arrival, you'll receive your personal access code for the keyless door lock. Press the Home Icon on the bottom left of the keypad to illuminate the keys. Enter your 4-digit access code to unlock. The door will self-lock when closed, so you will need to re-enter your access code each time you enter. Your personal code should never be given to anyone outside your party, including the cleaning staff.

Community Amenities & Rules
Building Amenities:
The fitness room and dry sauna are located on the 8th floor across from the elevators. The pool and steam sauna are located on the 1st floor on the east side of the building. The sundeck and jacuzzi pool are located on the 1st floor facing the beach. Each registered guest is provided a Tropic Winds wristband which must be worn when using the resort amenities.
Beach Service:
Beach service is included with your stay from March - October. Enjoy 2 padded lounge chairs with umbrella prepared and serviced just for you every day on the beach. You will need to provide proof that you are a guest at Tropic Winds by showing either your arrival information letter or your rental agreement.
Community Rules:
The Tropic Winds Association Management has established the following important community rules. For a complete list of all property rules, please click on Tropic Winds Rules & Regulations or from the link at the top of this page. Security will enforce all rules and will call local law enforcement if necessary.
Renters must be 25 years or older unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
Tropic Winds is a smoke-free property, smoking ANYTHING is prohibited in the condo, balcony and on property grounds.
All property amenities (pool, hot tub, spa, etc...) are open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. All registered guests will be provided a Tropic Winds wristband which must be worn when using the amenities.
The pool and hot tub must be vacated during inclement weather and any other conditions deemed hazardous. All alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited in the pool / spa areas. No food or drinks, diving, jumping, or disruptive behavior is allowed in the pool or hot tub.
Children twelve (12) years or under must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are not allowed in the hot tub area, sauna, steam room or exercise room. The adult assumes responsibility for the child's safety, actions, and any damages should they occur.
No loud or excessive noise is allowed, and under no circumstances may any parties or events take place at the property. Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Destructive behavior is prohibited. This includes vandalizing or destroying common property such as the parking garage, pool and other amenities, and the beach grounds.
It is prohibited by Florida Law to throw or drop anything from balconies or walkway railings. Climbing or leaning over the balconies is strictly prohibited. Do not hang towels or other articles on balcony or walkway railings. Use of ANY grill, hibachi, or fire pit is prohibited on balconies.
No articles (with the exception of shoes and welcome mats) shall be left on walkways at any time. Any unauthorized items left in these areas may be confiscated by the association staff.
Parking in a non-assigned reserved space is prohibited. Skates, roller blades, skateboards, foot scooters, RVs, trailers, dual-lies, 2-wheel scooters, 3-wheel bubble cars, and 4-wheel golf or electric carts are prohibited. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the driver's expense.
All accidents or injuries must be reported to Security or the Association Staff immediately.
Safety:
Over the past few years, there have been some ocean-related deaths along the gulf coast. Please pay attention to the flags on the beach. If there's a RED FLAG, do NOT swim. The rip tides (rip currents) can be very strong. If you by chance get caught in one, swim parallel to the beach. The condominium does NOT have lifeguards.
Household Information
Tropic Winds is a smoke-free property. There is absolutely NO SMOKING and NO PETS allowed in the condo unit, condo balcony, or anywhere on property grounds. DO NOT apply sprayable tans, sun blocks, or oils inside the condo unit, please apply them outside at the beach area. If wearing spray tans, lotions, or oils, please DO NOT use our towels, sit on bed linens or furniture (both indoor and outdoor) before rinsing off.
Household Amenities:
We are happy to provide a welcoming environment for your stay; however, please keep in mind that this is a privately hosted home—not a hotel. As a courtesy, we offer a starter supply of essential items (such as toiletries, paper goods, basic kitchen items, and other discretionary supplies) to help you settle in. If you require additional supplies to accommodate the length of your stay or the size of your group, we kindly ask that you plan to purchase these items as needed. Thank you for your understanding and for treating our home with care!
Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped featuring a range / oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, coffee maker, Keurig brewer (bring your favorite K-cups), blender, mixer, crock pot, toaster, toaster oven, and plenty of cookware, dishes, and utensils. When trash bags are full, please tie close and dispose via the trash shoot located outside the unit on the same floor. A fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen cabinet directly in front of the refrigerator.
Bathrooms:
Each bathroom is stocked with complimentary essentials to get you started during your stay including bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, facial tissue, and other discretionary supplies. For your convenience, bathrooms are equipped with a bathmat and hair dryer. Each guest is provided with two sets of bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and one beach towel for use at the beach. You may launder towels if needed, however do not mix white towels / linens with colored clothes or beach towels.
Utility / Laundry Room:
The breaker box is in the utility room located at the entrance of the condo unit. To reset a tripped circuit, flip the switch for the appropriate labeled room. You may use the washer, dryer, and ironing accessories for your laundry needs. If using the clothes dryer, please empty the lint tray after each use. The lint tray is located inside the rim of the dryer door. You may use the beach chairs and accessories located in the utility room. Please be sure to return them sand-free when done.

Ceiling Fans:
Each room has a ceiling fan / light operated by a wall switch controller. To operate, press either the fan or light button once to turn on, press again to turn off. You can adjust the fan speed or light dimmer by pressing and holding the toggle switch next to each respective button.
TV & Remotes:
Each room has a Smart TV with Roku remote. When powering on the TV, please allow up to 5 seconds before seeing the TV splash screen and picture appear. Click the Home button on the remote, then select the FDTV streaming app. Use the FDTV online TV guide to access the channel lineup including local programming, major network channels, premium movies, and music.
Netflix:
To watch Netflix movies or other streaming services, press the menu or streaming service button on the TV remote. You may be required to login to your Netflix or streaming service account to stream or rent movies.
Sliding Doors:
Heavy hurricane resistant glass sliding doors are located in the living room and master bedroom. To unlock, make sure the door is tightly closed before disengaging the slide lock releases located next to the door handle. Next, slide the top lock release down and bottom lock release up. You may grasp the door frame along with the door handle to assist in pulling. Please DO NOT leave sliding doors open while the air conditioning is running. The HVAC system will automatically shut off if the sliding doors are left open for more than 5 minutes. Please DO NOT open sliding doors while the front entrance door is open, the sudden wind flow may cause the front door or interior doors to slam shut which may lead to damage or injuries.
Accidental Damage:
Limited Property Damage Protection coverage may be included with your stay. Although you remain responsible for the care and condition of the property and content within, the plan covers the cost of minor repairs or replacement in the event of minor accidental damage. We realize that accidents can happen, and we ask that you report ANY damage so that we can be sure to keep our property in excellent condition for future guests.
Departure Instructions
The property must be vacated by 10:00 AM (Central Time Zone) on the date of departure. No late check-out is permitted unless explicitly approved by the owner.
On the morning of your check-out please do the following:
Please place wet towels in the laundry basket located in the utility room or in the bathtub.
Please empty the refrigerator and adjust temperature settings to normal for both refrigerator and freezer.
Dispose all trash via the trash shoot located outside the unit. Bigger items can be disposed in the dumpster located on the west corner of the building facing the street.
Please clean-up kitchen and run dishwasher if needed.
Please double-check that no personal items are left behind.

If you’re looking for exciting activities (seasonal), just a short walk along the beach you'll find fun water activities, including jet skis, sailboats, and parasailing. Also, just minutes from the condominium you will find grocery stores, gift shops, fast food, fuel stations, rentals, and the popular Pier Park retail, dining, and entertainment center. Pier Park is a beautifully landscaped outdoor shopping mall with festive, colorful Caribbean architecture, containing national chain retailers along with unique locally owned boutiques and specialty stores. The lifestyle complex also contains a 16-screen movie theater, Dave & Busters, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and over 80 stores and 30 restaurants.
